All of the recipes that I am posting are from my Grandma's collection that was handed down to me when she passed away.... Some of my fondest memories, of her, were me and grandma cooking... She had a passion for it... As I was going through her recipe box, I happened upon such a variety of recipes from Breakfast foods, to the mix of paint colors for her house... Now of course I am not going to post everything because most of us don't need to know what paint to mix to match her house... LOL But there are allot of recipes for different things that have been lost in my generation, and others are just traditions that I grew up with..
Some of the recipes are kind of hard to read, because of the time they have been stored for and most are wrote in pencil.... I am trying to do my best to get them down before they are completely unreadable.. so some of them I am going to do my best at filling in the smudged words.. I will also make note of the ones that I do so you all will know..
Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to look into my families past, and hope you all will try some of these so that traditions can continue to be passed down from generation to generation, and all of us can once again learn to make things from scratch.... because you never know when we may need to rely on ourself and not the prepackaged stuff.
