Little Danish Cakes

1 cup flour      1/3 cup sugar    1 egg separated
1/2 cup butter     1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

Cream together sugar and butter.. Then add egg yolk. Beat well.
Then work in flour, and shape into 24 balls.
Dip each ball in beaten egg white, then roll in finely chopped nuts.
Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
Bake for 5 min (in 325 oven) remove from oven with an object, smaller then the cakes, press the center in. Return to the oven and bake another 10 min.
When finished baking and partially cooled, fill the center with red jam or jelly.

Cabbage Patch Stew

Brown about 1 lbs of Hamburger. Add 1 cup sliced onions, 1 cup sliced celery, and about 2 cups or better cabbage. Add a small amount of Chili Powder, 1 qt tomatoes, salt and pepper, and I cup or can of Kidney beans.
Simmer until the vegetables are not quite done, better a little raw then over cooked.

Strawberry Jam

2 cups mashed berries                          2 cups water
1 pk strawberry punch powder          1 pk pectin
Bring to a boil
Add 6 cups sugar
Boil 3 minutes...  put into containers.

Lone Ranger Cookies

1 cup +1 Tbs Lard             2 eggs
1 cup white sugar                1 Tbs milk
1 cup brown sugar              1 tsp vanilla
Cream lard and sugar... add eggs, milk and vanilla. Then sift in dry ingredients and mix well.
2 cups flour                         1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda                 1/2 tsp salt
Then add 2 cups quick oats, 2 cups corn flakes, 1 cup chocolate chips, and 1 cup coconut.
Bake 8-10 min in a 350 oven

German Brown Soup

Dice 1 cup carrots and 1 cup potatoes (or as many as you like.)  Brown onion in hot butter. Cook carrots, onions, potatoes and chunks of left over meat or hamburger. cook until tender after which pour 1 can of tomatoes or tomato juice into the mixture... Serve hot.

Cream Cheese Icing

1- 8oz package cream cheese (softened)        1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 tsp vanilla                                   1 lbs powder sugar (about 3 1/2 cups)

Beat softened cream cheese and softened butter together. slowly add powdered sugar, beating until well blended. Add vanilla.

*Ice cake and sprinkle with 1 cup coconut mixed with 1/2 cup shopped pecans, between layers and on top.

Cool Mint Dessert

1/2 cup butter                         1 cup powder sugar
3 eggs separated                     1 cup (or less) nuts
1 cup vanilla wafers                 1 cup whipping cream
1/4 pound peppermint candy    10  marshmallows
2 oz bitter chocolate melted

cream butter and sugar until fluffy. add egg yolk.. Beat.
Then add melted chocolate gradually beating constantly.
add half the nuts- fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour mixture in cake pan that has been lined with  half or more of wafer crumbs... Chill thoroughly
Whip cream. add crushed candy, marshmallows and rest of nuts.
Pour over chilled chocolate layer. Cover with rest of crumbs. Let stand overnight in fridge.
Cut into squares and serve.
